On July 19th at 5:00 PM we will be holding our first Town Hall Meeting since the Covid-19 shutdown. We have a packed agenda. We will have a time of worship and communion followed by the formal Business Meeting and concluding with some exciting news!
During the business portion of the meeting we will be presenting for vote numerous changes to our Constitution and By-Laws. These suggested changes are a result of a comprehensive review of both documents. The goal of this review was to increase clarity and consistency in the areas of legal authority and to ensure our operational processes align with the language in the By-Laws concerning membership.
Also, the Covid-19 pandemic highlighted various deficiencies in our By-Laws in terms of emergency procedures and continuity of operations. The final section of proposed By-Law changes addresses these issues.
The document below includes all proposed language. Each section starts with the current language followed by the proposed language. Most importantly, we have included a notes section following the proposed language that details the reasoning for the proposed changes. We have Question & Answer sessions on July 8th and July 15th at 6:00PM in Room
A-105. For those who would like to take part virtually, we have included the Zoom meeting information below.
